Do you like to choreograph your own work?
If you're between 15 and 19 years old and would like to develop your skills in creating dance, then the Youth Dance England Young Creatives programme might be for you.
YDE Young Creatives provides unique training for a dozen young choreographers each year, pairing each participant up with a professional choreographer to mentor you through a three-month period, and offering residential sessions in London to boost your skills in creating dance, understanding lighting and technical requirements on stage, rehearsing with your dancers and getting ready for a big première of your work at the Royal Opera House.
Participants can be working in any dance style from breakin’ to contemporary, ballet, Kathak, or a combination! We are just looking for fresh and engaging ideas...
So if you think you're a bit of of a budding choreographer, then click here to find out more and apply.
